Welcome to the COntag Lab at Michigan State University

In the past, the Contag lab focused on developing and using non-invasive imaging approaches to reveal molecular processes in living subjects, to understand host-pathogen interactions, to advance diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for cancer and to reveal the nuances of stem cell engraftment and expansion. Currently, the lab focuses on extracellular vesicles, cancer biology, and tissue regeneration; along with two emerging fields: immunocarcinogenesis and synthetic endosymbionts.
